My Grandad James (Jimmy) Galvin, passed away peacefully on 3rd May 2007 he was 87 years old. He had a loving wife Polly who passed away
08th October 1989.
He worked has a dustbin man until he retired, Polly
looked after him and their children.
They have left behind a family who love them very much:-
Three sons Jimmy, Philip and Brian(deceased). They had six Daughters Brenda, Marion, Mary, Rita, Joyce and Jean. They had 20 grandchildren and 24 great grand children and a great-great grandchild.
Jimmy & Polly were great friends to many.
He passed away peacefully with his loving family around him in Wigan Royal Infirmary after a short illness. Polly passed away in her sleep peacefully.
